Coupling elements

Compensatory effect

Coupling elements transmit large torques. They thus equalise irregularities or decouple oscillations. The rubber bodies of the coupling elements are built differently, depending upon the task and the level of the torque to be transmitted. For example, designs are possible that are based on the classic Jörn slit bush or on combinations of multiple segments that are each compressed between an arbitrary inner and outer part.

The couplings currently transmit torque up to 120,000 Nm.
